Health Insurance
Full-time employees are eligible for health insurance coverage. We offer a national plan that generally covers hospital, major medical, primary care, specialists and diagnostic expenses. The waiting period for the health insurance plan is from the first day of employment until the first of the following month.
Dental Insurance
Full-time employees are eligible to participate in our dental insurance plan. The plan covers all preventative care and a percentage of other services such as fillings and crowns. The waiting period for dental insurance plan is from the first day of employment until the first of the following month.
Life Insurance
Full-time employees are eligible for $25,000 in life insurance coverage.
Employees have the option to purchase supplemental life insurance for themselves, spouse and/or any dependents. The waiting period for life insurance plan is from the first day of employment until the first of the following month.
401(k)
Employees are eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan beginning on their first day of employment with Select Computing. We match at a rate of 50% per dollar up to the first 6% of the employee contributions. The 401(k) retirement program provides convenient pretax payroll deductions, tax-deferred earnings and a range of investment choices.
Paid Time Off
We believe that our employees are our most valuable assets. While work takes up a large portion of an employee’s time, we believe that a balance between work and play is essential in maintaining quality performance and a fun atmosphere in which we work. To help foster this idea, the company offers employees with a paid time off (PTO) allowance each year. The PTO includes vacation, sick time and personal time to be used at the employee’s discretion.

We are committed to career-long learning and professional development. We view learning as an ongoing process of personal growth and professional development. Employees are encouraged to work with their team leaders to develop an individual personal development plan. The company assists employees in meeting their career development goals by reimbursing employees for pre-approved training classes, seminars and professional certifications.
Flexible Spending Accounts
Full time employees are eligible to participate in the flexible spending account on their first day of employment. These accounts provide for reimbursement of predictable out-of-pocket healthcare and dependent care expenses using pretax dollars deducted from an employee’s pay. An employee can contribute up to $1,500 for health care expenses and up to $5,000 for dependent care expenses.
