SCi is a certified CMMIŽ SE/SW Level 3 process maturity company. By company policy, all work SCi personel perform complies with the SCi Way. The practices and methodologies that comprise the SCi Way Governance are consistent with a number of industry best practices, in particular:

  • The Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI);
  • ISO 9001 and 9003;
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) best practices.

  • Edify: SCI’s continuous improvement practice defines the methodology for improving the SCI Way.
  • Insight: SCI’s customer engagement practice defines how SCI and its employees and contractors interact with the Client and how to document and track the interactions.

Edify, the continuous improvement practice, can be applied in customer environments as well. However, its application transforms the environment.

Insight, the customer engagement practice, defines our approach to customer care. As a customer, SCi provides, at no additional charge, a dedicated portal. The most visible part of the SCInsight practice is the customer’s Extranet. The SCInsight web site provides immediate information on the status of work activities SCi is undertaking. In addition, it provides direct visibility into the team execution of the SCi Way.
